Choir

Singing is fun at our school.  We have two choirs – Senior Choir for Years 4, 5 and 6 and Junior Choir for Years 2 and 3.  Both choirs rehearse for 40 minutes each week during school time.  The Senior Choir on Wednesday afternoon and the Junior Choir on Thursday afternoon.  From our Senior Choir of 65 members, 36 singers were selected at the beginning of the year to represent our school in the combined choir at the Festival of Choral Music held at the Opera House in August.  These students have met each Friday at lunch time to rehearse the 11 songs in the repertoire for the concert. This is the sixth successive year our choir has been involved in this exciting venture.

The Choir will be performing in 2012 at the Festival of Choral Musick Bennelong Concert on Wednesday 17th October at 7.00pm.
